We are neither an insurance broker nor an insurance company. We provide an independent online insurance comparison site. We do not offer any advice or make recommendations so you will need to make your own decisions on how you wish to proceed.

Answering Questions

You must answer all questions honestly and to the best of your knowledge. Your quotation will be based on the answers you give and if you do not tell the truth, or if you mislead or omit important information then the premium may be wrong. This means that insurers might not pay a claim and you may also lose your premium. You might also have to pay compensation or be charged with fraud.

If you are in doubt about what to do, please phone the quotation helpline. Please note that this also applies to anyone else who will be covered under any policy. You must also answer questions about them honestly and to the best of your knowledge. You should check matters of fact with them to ensure accuracy.

Charges we make

We will not ask you to pay us anything. If you purchase insurance through this website the Direct Insurers, or Insurance Broker, that provides insurance will be charged a fee. We may also receive income from any other companies that you are introduced to.

Our service

We provide an online price comparison website. We do not offer any advice or make recommendations so you will need to make your own decisions on which choice of insurance you select and how you wish to proceed.

Services we offer

We will ask you questions and provide a list of quotations from Direct Insurers or Insurance Brokers based on the answers you give for you to choose what is best for you. Often we will display a list that is arranged in order of the most competitive price, but we will where possible point out other features or benefits that you might wish to consider. At that point our service ends and the Direct Insurers or Insurance Broker you choose will deal with you from there onwards.

To do this we will

  • Collect and collate your answers to questions.
  • Send these details to insurance companies and insurance brokers to provide you with quotes.
  • Provide you with quotes so you can decide which policy you want.
  • Provide you with an introduction to the Direct Insurers or Insurance Broker who will arrange the insurance with you.
  • If we supply you with a telephone quotation, this will be outsourced to one of our partners who will introduce themselves and be responsible to you for the service they offer.

We will try and find you the most competitive quote from our panel. These are insurance brokers who deal with insurance companies or direct insurers and they will provide you with written details of the service they will offer you. If you decide to go ahead with any of the quotations, they will tell you the basis on which they have arranged it.

If for any reason we let you down, please let us know by contacting our customer services department on 0800 044 3613 or e-mail us at: or write to the Customer Services Department at Vast Visibility, 8 Princes Parade, Princes Dock Liverpool, L3 1DL.

If we are unable to satisfy you, we will advise you if you have the right to take your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service who can be contacted at:
South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, London E14 9S. Telephone: 0800 023 4567; Email:; Website:

If you have any queries regarding your insurance policy e.g. missing documents, change of details, price etc. you should contact the Direct Insurer or Insurance Broker whose policy you selected (we do not have a record of the identity of the Direct Insurer or Insurance Broker with whom individuals/Our Clients have selected to take policies out).

If you have any queries regarding an insurance quotation please contact the telephone helpline numbers listed on the site.

If you wish, you can make a complaint via the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR platform). The ODR platform is a website which helps customers who've bought something online in the EU if a dispute arises. The platform will send your complaint to a certified Alternative Dispute Resolution Provider who works to solve the problem. In the UK that would be the UK Financial Ombudsman Service whose website details are shown above.

How we operate

We are a web based Insurance intermediary, we operate a web site that will obtain details of your insurance requirements by asking questions to which you supply the answers, and it will then display a number of insurance options.

When you decide which option to select then you will be passed to the Direct Insurer’s or Insurance Broker’s website to complete the transaction.

We will keep your details and will rerun them through our quotation platform at your next anniversary.
You will be able to revise and /or amend your quotation to reflect any changes that have occurred in the previous 12 months.

Your responsibilities

To accept a quotation from one of the Insurance brokers we will invite you to either:

  • Click on the link to their web site;
  • Contact them by phone.

Before you purchase a policy you must check all the information the Direct Insurer or Insurance Broker holds about you is correct. It is your responsibility to ensure all details are correct as failure to do so could result in your insurance being invalid. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for any loss or damage you may incur or suffer if any information held by the Direct Insurer or Insurance Broker is not correct.

It is also important that you read their Terms and Conditions as they will vary with each Direct Insurer or Insurance Broker, as may any fees they charge, or any credit facilities they are able to provide to you. Please also make sure that you are aware of and understand their cancellation fees.

As we have no control of the identity of the insurers that Insurance Brokers offer, you should check and ensure that you are happy to have your insurance with them. You may wish to satisfy yourself as to the Insurer’s solvency and ensure that they are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and that they are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme and the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Commercial Use and Obtaining quotes for other persons

This website is only for personal use by a private individual or a business seeking an insurance price comparison directly for that business. This web site should not be used for commercial use or price scraping. You should not use this website to obtain quotations for persons other than yourself. If you are trying to obtain a quotation for a relative or person of reduced or limited understanding you should phone the quotation helpline and explain the circumstances. It could be a criminal offence to obtain insurance for someone else.

Data Protection

We take Data Protection seriously because we want you to feel confident about the privacy and security of the personal information you input on our website. We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of your information as required by law. These security procedures mean that we or the Insurance Brokers or Insurers with whom you take out your policy may ask for proof of your identity before disclosing any information to you.

In supplying our service, we will have to collect and process personal information about you. We have to disclose that information to the Insurance Brokers or Insurers in order to obtain a quotation and afterwards if you take out a policy.

All this personal information that we retain will be held in strictest confidence.

The Insurance Brokers or Insurers you are introduced to will have their own Data Protection Policies. They may differ from ours so you should check how they will use your data. They will tell you if they intend to move your personal data outside the European Union. They and the other providers linked to our service are not entitled to use your information for general marketing purposes unless you have consented to this directly with them. We will not overwrite any existing marketing preferences you have previously set up with product providers.

Our Liability

Our Software is complex and highly sophisticated; however we acknowledge that sometimes mistakes might still occur. When we share your details with insurers it is not changed in anyway and we make every effort to transmit your details correctly. You are then responsible to choose who you deal with.

We cannot guarantee solvency or ability of any of the parties we introduce you to, but they are all authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, (the FCA require them and us to have insurance to cover errors, handle any complaints promptly and treat you fairly, and provide access to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme and the Financial Ombudsman Service).

Our service to you is provided without charge and as a result we cannot be held responsible for any unidentifiable errors that might occur in the exchange of this information. If it is subsequently found to be incorrect as a direct and provable result of our negligence, our liability to you for the services we provided directly to you, (and not any service provided by others including or our partners) shall not exceed £1,000,000 in connection with any one event or connected events, except in respect of injury to or the death of any person resulting from our negligence.

We do not seek to restrict our liability in law in connection with matters covered by Financial Services and Markets Act 2002 (FSMA), as amended or any conduct of business rules developed pursuant to FSMA nor to restrict or exclude our liability where it would be illegal or unfair to do so.

We would remind you that it is your responsibility to make sure your insurance broker and insurer have the correct information necessary to insure you on the right basis. You should not buy insurance without checking to make sure your details are correct. When you receive documents from your broker or insurer you should check again that the details are correct.
